Brent was born and raised in Georgia. He became a follower of Jesus at the early age of 11 and was called into ministry at the age of 17. Brent served his first church at the young age of 19 as the lead pastor of a small congregation. While finishing his undergraduate degree at the the University of Georgia, he continued to serve as pastor of a church. Upon graduation from UGA in 2001 he took a teaching job at West Jackson Middle School while still pastoring the same church. Brent has remained a teacher and coach at WJMS since then and a part of the community in Jackson County. In the fall of 2015 he became the pastor of Ebenezer UMC in Jefferson. Brent is passionate about connecting people to the love of the triune God and is thrilled to be part of the Outpost adventure!
